Would like to see if I could request a refund for my stay. My Husband and I stayed at the Ramada Limited in Cockeysville Md while attending an Antique Arms show the weekend of March 15-17 ****.
The rooms were not only not cleaned from the last people who stayed but we found *** roaches in our room. A mouse which got into our stuff. The room made a thumping noise all night smoke alarm went off in middle of night needing new batteries. Hotel staff was still cleaning rooms at 5 pm and not given us fresh towels as of yet asked us to please keep curtains closed and not to check out when we leave but to leave key in room.
Safe didnt work and refrigerator froze everything and was turned as low as possible. I would like to ask for a refund for such bad service.
my other Family members asked to switch rooms because they had so many cockroaches in their room but stated it was just as bad no other hotels were available to move locations or we would have. Desk was informed of such cleanliness and did nothing to comp us.

Booked a room online for Ramada by Wyndham In Maggie Valley NC to pay for it when we got to the hotel for our honeymoon. They had pictures of an indoor pool and hot tub on their website.
We got there and the front desk lady took my debit card and ran it for 3 nights 19-22nd of November 2023 which was $280.20. My wife went in after the lady gave us the room key card to check out the pool/hot tub area and the hot tub was empty and she felt the indoor pool with her hand and it was like ice water. We informed the front desk lady and she said the hot tub hasnt worked in a long time. There was no signs up stating that and wasnt on their site and wasnt informed before they checked us in and took our money about the freezing pool or none working hot tub.
She also said the pools temperature depends on the weather outside which I never heard of with an in closed indoor pool that is in the same room with a hot tub. If you jumped in the pool your body would go into shock. We asked for a full refund and explained that we are here on our honeymoon and she said she couldnt do so and we would have to talk to the general manager Paul Patel. She said he wouldnt be in until the next day the 20th after 11am.
My wife called Orbitz on the 19th and they called the front desk to talk with them about a full refund and she told them they could give us two days back but not one which would be for the 19th. Orbitz canceled our reservation and requested a full refund to us from the hotel. She said 3-5 days would get money back for two days but not for the 19th and still havent received it as of today. We put in a formal complaint also to Ramada on the 19th about the hot tub and pool.
We didnt even take our luggage off their cart and gave them the key card back. We had to go find another hotel which was hard since we were not familiar with the area. We went back there the 20th after 11am and the general manager was not there as we was told he would be. The guy at the desk call him on his personal cell on speaker and we talked to Mr Patel he said if I can send him a screen shot via email that a site said hot tub and pool that he would talk to the account manager for a full refund.
He said the hot tub hasnt worked since Covid started. My wife pulled it up and the man at the desk took a picture and sent it via text from his phone and my wife did via email also. He never elaborated on the freezing pool temperature. He said he would send a email or call which as of now hasnt.
He also asked us did we put a complaint in and we said yes. He said he knows we did because he was looking at it and he was going to respond to the complaint right then and we would get a email about it. Ramada said he hasnt responded to the complaint yet. Still havent gotten a email or phone call about anything.
My wife has tried and tried to get ahold of Mr Patel and has left several messages with the front desk people and another email. No response at all from anyone. The front desk lady said she would call this past Monday after she talks to Mr Patel over the weekend which that phone call took place on the 24th and no one has contacted us. My wife called yesterday and the front desk man said he would call Mr Patel right after they get off the phone and he will call back.still no callthey just keep giving us the run around.
Such an inconvenience, it interrupted our plans and a big headache all around especially since it was our honeymoon.
Called again yesterday and the same lady said she will talk to the manager and call us back today. I doubt it since they are very poor at communicating.

I stayed a total of 8 nights, paid 3 separate deposits and never received any of my deposits back even tho I left the room in better condition than when I came into it. Fridge was dirty, floors filthy, ottoman full of garbage and debris and under the couch was full of gross debris as well.
Someone else's hair was also left in the shower. Disgusting!! My room didn't even include an iron or ice bucket. Manager Ryan was excellent, the owners however were terrible.
Very rude and not only kept my deposits but also charged me $70.20 for something that they still have failed to tell me what for. I will never stay there ever again.

User's recommendation: I accidentally made reservation via Expedia, as soon as I noticed I cancelled through EXPEDIA. I still got charged for a room I can't use, now or ever. I contacted Expedia, they said contact Ramada, I contacted Ramada 2 times, they say have Expedia call Ramada by Wyndham Spokane Airport to get the refund. Be very carful before making a reservation at this or and Wyndham hotels.

Im a female who was traveling alone who just opened her own business who was hoping to find an affordable hotel with decent reviews online. Wyndham hotels have always had impeccable service so I thought the Ramada in Lewiston was a safe bet for September 22nd-24th.
I used Expedia because I had travel points and I checked in right before midnight.
I got to my hotel, checked in, and went to my room. As I was walking to my room I watched a mom and her daughter look disgruntled and leave. The entire hotel reeked of cigarettes which I shook off because I thought it was just somewhere to sleep its fine. When I got to my room, I immediately went into the bathroom.
The toilet was covered in mold and dirty, the toilet seat was broken off, there was still trash on the ground from what Im pretty sure was the previous person who stayed there, and there were gnats flying everywhere. The shower was covered in mold as well. I called my mom to tell her what was going on and she looked up the reviews and theres heinous stuff on there about cockroaches, bedbugs, etc. she immediately told me to leave.
I contacted my Expedia agent hoping to possibly get a refund, but I needed to get out asap. I took photos of all these issues to show the front desk. As I grabbed my belongings, a man outside was leading the front desk clerk to his room. I headed downstairs to wait and this man, by the name of Luke, came back down to tell me he had cockroaches in his room.
I checked out and went to the Hilton in Augusta instead. Ive never had a worse experience at a hotel or worse service.
I just want a refund because I spent over $300 for two nights there, multiple people left as I was leaving, and Expedia is only offering me $47 worth of points. Is there any way you can help me?

Dear Ramada Hotel Management,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay at the Ramada Hotel Oceanside, CA, located on Mission Road off the 5 freeway. The treatment I received from the owner and staff was unacceptable and left a sour taste in my mouth.
Upon arrival, I was made to wait for two hours to check in, only to be told that a $200 cash deposit was required, which I did not have on hand.
I was then directed to use the ATM in the lobby, which charged a fee of $3.00. This was already a frustrating experience, but things took a turn for the worse the next morning.
The room cleaner staff began knocking on my door, demanding that I leave, and when the owner was called down, she was extremely rude and accused me of damaging the room. Despite not causing any damage, she retained my $200 deposit and called the police to have me removed from the premises, claiming I was trespassing.
As a 48-year-old man, I have never experienced such appalling service at a hotel. I am requesting that my $200 deposit be returned to me immediately.
I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take necessary actions to address the issues at this hotel.

Stayed in Ramada Seoul Nadaemun. Absolutely horrible!
The worst hotel room, the worst service.
Defective shower… and the list goes on.Tried to talk to a manager (Saturday evening) and the manager would be in just on Thursday. Nobody gave me a solution for all misery...
I asked to speak to the manager on the day I arrived, which was Saturday and I was told the manager would be in just on Thursday, nearly a week later.
I said some of the many issues to the attendant, but he dont even know how to deal with a complaint.
He simply asked me what I would like him to do. I said nothing but he could offer even a chocolate as excuse but nothing.
On day 2 i complaint about how rude the lady (probably a breakfast supervisor was) and again nothing was said.
Again the second day, when I arrived back in the hotel: no toilet paper, no shower gel, dirty mirror and very dirty sink it is a bad joke!
I stayed in ramadas before, hence I choose the hotel!
But that was the last time in my life.

We booked two rooms at this hotel, one for us and one for my brother. My brother walked into his room and the AC was not working.
So on our way down to the restaurant, we stopped and told the girl at the desk. She said she would have maintenance fix it while we were eating. While at the restaurant, a thunderstorm came in. When he got back to his room his AC still didnt work.
We were tired so we went to bed. The next morning my brother woke up and stepped out of bed into a flooded floor. I took pictures and we also asked the front desk if they would refund, she said they wouldnt charge his card. The whole downstairs level was flooded too so we didnt get to take advantage of the breakfast.
They also said a manager would call my brother. He never did. I finally called him when the room charge was billed to his card. These people would not take the time to call my brother, they made him call instead.
Then they offered him a $50 refund. My brother after getting bronchitis, he refused a partial credit. I emailed the pictures and video before he took my brothers call.
I will never stay there again and we had stayed there many times on road trips. I heard there is different management that we had before

I had stayed for 2 nights, this morning I paid to extend my stay for one more night. I left with my work items and the days clothes.
After work I ate and and my boyfriend dropped me to my hotel room. Immediately we noticed all my items I left that morning, was gone, and the room was set new. I spoke with the front desk where she first starts with just to let you know this is a ghetto neighborhood- we are in downtown and I grew up here and this hotel is not the worst area at all and right by the main sites. She then pulled out a bag of items from back, asking if any was mine or my boyfriends, they werent.
They reviewed the clips and laughed at their employees, told us theyll call us when they get answers. Customer service sent us 3 times to a knowingly non 24/7 line - eventhough we asked not to prior. we asked the front desk for a refund and they have given ZERO compensation or even offered at least to relocate us to a new or upgraded room. They havent offered anything.
When i addressed the absurdity that they couldnt get a hold of their people who were employees on the clips they watched- the guy, at the counter immediately smugly says theyre not MY people which then the girl at reception who has been all fine, agrees.its ridiculous a crew is suggesting their employees isnt theirs. Theyve said they spoke to the person on the tapes and theyd be coming with the item. I repeated asking for a refund as we didnt feel safe being there. Weve asked when theyll be there so we could schedule with the cops (who the bf was on the phone with at that moment) he said they couldnt do anything and the GM wasnt answering- and that he couldnt tell us WHEN their employee they contacted would arrive with our belongings.
Weve since contacted the cops and are now waiting outside the hotel for how ever long the non emergency cops will arrive- cops staying up to 300minutes. this is obsurd! Weve stayed with Wyndham and their sister companies plenty of times. Not once in my life have I known anyone to have their room completely swiped, and the hotel have the items disappear within approximately 6 hours of checkout time (which I extended my stay) so someone took just our items, since reception showed us what remaining items they did have in back.
Ive never felt so violated, and just let down a corporation as big as Wyndham doesnt have a 24/7 customer service line. We are now forced to pay for over $360 to book with a new hotel. This is just crazy, Ive never seen such lack of any service. Front desk seemed truthful until the guy showed up- Im assuming was maintenance (because the front desk woman said he was the only person to answer her call) and then he gives the attitude theyre not MY people and thats when she agreed.
Are you or are you not a team as a business? Do you not have processes to file anything? They offered absolutely zero compensation. No one would do anything but Waite for a GM- no manager, no superintendent, no corporate process to refund me for being violated and disrespected.
This is a *** shame! I now have to pay more to feel safe in another facility!
Update: reported with the cops. Someone brought some items back.
No expensive makeup, missing were both missing jeans, shirts, hoodie, cash, personal laptop, chargers, dinner we had bought, custom hoodies from organizations, and worst of all that was missing was my dirty pantries and bras! So its not just a ghetto area per the front desk, its ghetto people working the staff!
